About Us

Upper Great Lakes Family Health Center (UGL) is a community-based medical, dental, and behavioral health care center. We are designated as a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), providing services regardless of language, gender, socio-economic status, sexual orientation, physical and mental capacity, age, religion, housing status and ability to pay.

Providing exceptional health care services for all people in the Upper Great Lakes region regardless of their ability to pay.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science or related field and/or three+ years as a systems administrator
• MCSA, MCSE, VCA Certification, preferred.
• Minimum three (3) years relevant work experience
• Managerial experience, including budgeting, leadership, EHR, as well as serving as a Committee Lead.
• Knowledge and understanding of HIPAA Risk Assessment 
• Ability to use and understand the functionality of various IT programs and protocols, including but not limited to: 
  • NAS/SAN
  • Office 365
  • VOIP configuration
  • VMware installation, configuration, and troubleshooting hypervisor and operating systems
  • Windows Server 2008 and above (DHCP, DNS, Print Management, AD, GPO)
  • Remote  Management Software
  • Back-up Management (Veeam)
  • Network device configuration and troubleshooting (Endpoints, switches, wireless access points)
  • Network and server security and design

• Preferred: 
  • 3+ years systems administration experience
  • 3+ years VMware configuration and support experience
  • Veeam Backup solutions experience
  • Mitel VOIP support experience
