Summary:

Upper Great Lakes Family Health (UGLFH) is seeking a IT Support Specialist to provide end user support of all information technology computer software, hardware, peripherals (printer, mobile technologies, phones, etc), applications, network, e-mail and telecommunications.

Job Qualifications:

GENERAL PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT

  1. Displays basic organizational skills and can prioritize and organize own work.
  2. Devises effective solutions to situations encountered which include not just the specific issues related to the function, but the general concerns of the organization.
  3. Selects from established alternatives and modifies approaches in response to situations encountered.
  4. Exercises tact and diplomacy in the resolution of mild conflicts or disagreements.
  5. Effectively explains complex or technical information to others.

PROFESSIONAL/TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

  1. Possesses advanced general skills, including written and verbal communications skills, computational and computer skills, and mathematical knowledge frequently acquired through completion of an IT-related bachelors degree program or an associate degree with acquired business experience.
  2. Possesses professional healthcare IT experience, generally obtained from on-the-job experience.

LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS

  1. Current technical support certification (i.e., A+, Windows desktop OS)

TECHNICAL SKILLS

  1. Microsoft Office Suite to create correspondence, tables, charts, graphs, spreadsheets, and presentations.
  2. Advanced utilization of multiple systems or platforms specific to IT operations.
  3. Basic network troubleshooting skills.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS

  1. Excellent written and oral communications skills
  2. Excellent cross-cultural communication skills.
  3. Effectively communicates information during informal and formal video presentations.
