Job Summary:
Saint Dominic’s Family Services recognizes the value that volunteers provide to enhance the work of the Agency. Saint Dominic’s Family Services strives to promote community collaboration by actively recruiting volunteers. A volunteer is not a replacement for a paid position assigned to an Agency employee and a volunteer is also not authorized to work with the individuals served without direct supervision by a designated staff. It is expected that a volunteer supports the mission of the Agency and commits to a schedule in an effort to prevent an interruption of services. All volunteers must undergo a background check where there might be associated fees for which the Agency is not responsible. In some cases, it might be necessary for the volunteer to attend required orientation/training.
