Job Summary:

The Fiscal Analysts is responsible for maintaining and ensuring that agency custodial accounts, which are owned by the individuals we serve, are accurate. helps to ensure accuracy of revenue recognition and other financial data and acts as support for the Controller and CFO.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and monitor all consumer trust accounts.
  • Monitor payments, A/R invoices, and Personal Allowances.
  • Support preparation of the yearly NYS Consumer clothing allowance report
  • Support monthly process of sending Rep Payee reports to the IRS.
  • Research and resolve any Accounts Receivable issues.
  •  Monitor certifications and re-certifications.
  • Maintaining in-depth knowledge and expertise in benefits.
  • Interface with internal departments regarding open items, changes, pending re-certifications.
  • Interface with external agencies (e.g. SSA, DSS) regarding new applications, re-certifications, changes, and claims
  • Prepare and/or collect all required documentation for external agencies to maintain compliance and coverage regarding benefits and entitlements. 
  • Maintain detailed files and documentation regarding benefits for those individuals we serve.
  • Other Fiscal Department duties as assigned.

Education & Experience

Associates degree required, BA in accounting preferred.   Two (2) years of related Fiscal experience is required.
Should be computer literate with MS Word, MS Excel and internet access skills. 


Physical Requirements:

Must be able to use office equipment and lift approximately 25lbs.
