Saint Dominic's Family Services is an Equal Opportunity Employer (Minorities/Females/Disabled/Veterans).  To read more about this, view the EEO is the Law poster and this EEO is the Law Poster Supplement Start Over with Job Search Returning Applicant?  Login Now SCHOOL RN OC ($500 SIGN ON BONUS) Full Time/Part Time Regular Full Time Total Hours Per Week From Salary 37.80 To Salary 37.80     Job Summary: Duties & Responsibilities: THIS POSITION HAS A $500 SIGN ON BONUS DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES ESSENTIAL DUTIES • Maintain health records on each student and sees that medical forms are updated. • Administer all prescribed medications to students on a daily basis. • Exercise professional judgment in dealing with health problems of the students. • Administer emergency first aid when necessary, completes accident forms, and recommends additional medical follow up. • Act as main liaison with parents and prescribing physicians concerning the administration of medications. • Maintain proper storage and security of all medications. • Communicate with staff members about all student medical issues; such as allergies, seizures, etc. • Order and dispense as needed first aid supplies; e.g. vinyl gloves, ice packs, band aids, etc. • Participate in In-Service training.   Education & Experience EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE • New York State License as a Registered Nurse. Associates Degree required. BA preferred. • Experience working with children.   Physical Requirements: PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS • Able to provide physical intervention when necessary • Able to pass yearly physical as per Agency requirement
