Job Summary:
853 Special Education Summer School 2023 is a six-week program which runs 7/1/24-8/9/24 (7/4/24 is a Holiday)

Duties & Responsibilities:

The One-to-One Assistant in the 853 Special Education Summer School Program Assists the Special Education Teacher in carrying out activities,  social, cognitive, behavioral and instructional objectives set forth in the child's I.E.P.   The Summer program offers daily activities as well as instructional program and swimming.  The One-to-One is assigned to a student and will monitor/oversea the student's meal time, bathroom breaks, greet and assist the student to and from the bus. It requires notebook communication with parents. 

Education & Experience

High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.

Experience working with children is preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to participate in planned activities with the students
