The Supported Employment Specialist assists with job finding and training in work behaviors, assess the interest and fit of a child for particular job opportunities, and provides on-site support for the child as they learn specific job tasks monitoring through on-site observation through communication with job supervisors and employers.
A bachelor’s degree preferred plus one (1) year-experience working with children or severely emotionally disturbed (SED) children, OR an associate degree minimum plus two (2) year of experience working with severely emotional disturbed (SED) children is required.
