The Speech/Language Pathologist implements treatment plans as part of therapeutic intervention in the area of speech and language development. Utilize standardized tests as well as clinical observations to assess students’ strengths and deficits and prepares written evaluation reports as part of the intake process. Develop IEP goals and objectives for students evaluated in the intake process.

New York State Certification as a Teacher of the Speech and Hearing Handicapped
New York State Bilingual Extension Certificate (for Bilingual Therapists)
Experience with language impaired children.
