Job Summary:
As a member of the clinic team, the Nurse Practitioner is responsible for performing physical and developmental screenings on foster care children. Preventive services, such as immunizations, health education and anticipatory guidance appropriate for the child's age.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Perform physical and developmental screening on children admitted to foster care programs.  Assure accurate follow-up of high-risk children for health assessment and instructions to biological, foster families and/or appropriate staff.

Education & Experience
Master's degree in Nursing, NYS Licensed Nurse Practitioner, 2 years clinical experience in pediatrics, knowledge of or experience in foster care or similar pediatric populations, computer proficiency, excellent written and verbal communication.
Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties for this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate clearly and effectively.  The employee is occasionally required to sit and stoop, kneel, crouch or climb stairs.  Must be able to travel unassisted and to use a computer.
