Job Summary:
The job of the Clinical Psychologist is to conduct assessments, evaluations and treatment services for children in foster care and to provide education to parents, foster parents and staff on clinical issues related to children. The Clinical Psychologist also assists in the internship/externship program, serves as a consultant to the foster care program and as the agency's MHCU liaison.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Performs intake assessments, developmental screens and psychological evaluations Supports the department's internship/externship program Participates in clinical meetings, Family Team Conferences and other meetings as needed


Education & Experience

Must have Clinical Psychology Doctoral (Psy D) degree and be licensed.  Must have at least three years of experience working in the child welfare system

Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties for this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate clearly and effectively. The employee is occasionally required to sit and stoop, kneel, crouch or climb stairs. Must be able to travel unassisted and to use a computer.
