Job Summary:

The Part-time Clinical Psychologist/Group Facilitator plans Parenting Journey, Daddy and Me/Mommy and Me Growth and Play Groups and Foster Parents’ Support Groups and other treatment groups. The Part-time Clinical Psychologist/Group Facilitator implements group work and ensures group objectives are met. The Part-time Clinical Psychologist/Group Facilitator documents group attendance and processes and evaluates group effectiveness. The job of the Part-time Clinical Psychologist/Group Facilitator is a Family Foster Care grant funded position.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Participate in evidence- based group training programs. Plan and implements group work. Facilitate group work and processes. Evaluate groups’ participation, group dynamics and treatment progress.


Education & Experience

Clinical Psychology Doctoral degree and be licensed and three years of experience working in the child welfare system.

Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties for this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate clearly and effectively. The employee is occasionally required to sit and stoop, kneel, crouch or climb stairs. Must be able to travel unassisted and to use a computer.
