Robins & Morton is looking for a Concrete Foreman to lead and supervise planning, lay-out and installation of work to be performed.

We are looking for a candidate to help us plan and coordinate efforts of craft workers under his/her supervision and to motivate them to accomplish work safely, correctly and efficiently. The ideal candidate will be able to collaboratively and effectively work with or supervise other craft team members.

YOUR DAY-TO-DAY

  • Be able to perform all essential functions of the craft workers under his/her supervision.
  • Perform task planning to safely and efficiently carry out all aspects of that work assigned.
  • Ensure that concrete finishers are qualified to perform their work.
  • Gain complete understanding of scope of work and related parts of the project.
  • Conduct tool box meetings and communicate safety concerns, work scope, plans, and schedules to crews.
  • Plan and communicate with warehouse, purchasing, and supervisor to assure an adequate supply of tools, materials, and equipment are available.
  • Ensure through personal inspections that correct construction procedures are followed and work is in compliance with plans and specifications.
  • Develop weekly work plans and monitor production.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM: (Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the job.)

  • High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate) Preferred 
  • Must be highly qualified journeyman carpenter with at least 3 years’ experience.       
  • Comprehend documents such as safety rules, operating maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • NCCER Certification preferred.
