About This Position
The Staff Aero-Mechanical Engineer designs aero-mechanical components of the aircraft and supporting systems (airframe, enclosures, control surfaces, etc.). The Aerospace Mechanical Engineer will lead small cross-functional teams of engineers to produce design's, and work across functions to ensure supporting functions can execute (purchasing, production, etc.). The Aerospace Mechanical Engineer is comfortable creating system and subsystem design from basic requirements. They establish design concepts from initial requirements (clean sheet) and assign elements to more junior engineer's. They support review of the resulting designs and support the team’s development.
