Job responsibilities to include working as part of a team of engineers, chemists, and technicians providing support to NASA while maintaining a strong consciousness about safety. This position will directly support the International Space Station (ISS) as well as all future exploration missions relating to Environmental Control and Life Support Systems (ECLSS). The work encompasses duties and responsibilities for maintaining life support systems aboard the ISS, discovering methodologies for making existing ISS ECLSS more efficient, and for troubleshooting and correcting anomalous phenomena aboard the ISS. The successful candidate will:
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field is required. Degree from an ABET accredited university is preferred. Typically, educational requirements are the equivalent of a Ph.D. with a minimum 4 years of experience; Masters with at least 8 years of experience, or a BS with at least 10 years of experience.
