Login Now Hotel Director Location:HOTEL Department:HOTEL DIRECTOR FT/PT Status:Full Time Job Responsibilities: Responsible for the day-to-day management of the Hotel and its staff and has commercial accountability for planning organizing and directing all hotel services, including reception, bellman, and housekeeping. Must strike a balance between customer satisfaction and effective business management, ensuring financial viability, and facilitate smooth-running customer service, while ensuring staff work together as a team. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Ensure compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations. Develop and implement a yearly operating budget including setting room rates, occupancy forecasts, revenue projections and department expenses. Ensure compliance with company standards for personnel administration and performance, service to patrons and budget. Delegate authority and assigns responsibility to all employees; supervises work activities of all employees. Ensure staff receive proper training for each position, including safety training and standard operating procedures. Allocate funds, authorizes expenditures and assists in budget planning. Monitor cost controls on a regular basis. Inspect guests’ rooms, public access areas, and outside grounds for cleanliness and appearance. Answer patrons’ complaints and resolves problems to maintain guest satisfaction. Handle and resolve team member issues. Adhere to the Casino & Hotel procedures and regulations. Ensure employee paperwork, work schedules and payroll are completed and submitted in a timely manner. Audit daily reports and process monthly paperwork. Order supplies and equipment as needed and in accordance with Casino procedures. Maintain appearance standards as outlined in departmental and BRC policies. Provide and inform team member of Players Club benefits, property amenities & marketing programs to our guests. Provide courteous service to our guests and be cordial to all team members. Communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Maintain a consistent, regular attendance record. AUTHORITY/SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Directly supervises staff of hotel. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Works with highly sensitive information, maintains confidentiality and discretion in all areas, including planning and promotional procedures and guest information files. Job Qualifications: Must have Bachelor's degree is preferred. Must be at least 21 years of age. Minimum five (5)yrs experience in hotel management and five (5)yrs experience working a property with at least 50 guest rooms and exceeds a 3 Star 3 Diamonds rating. Needs valid driver's license and be insurable by agencies insurance. Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check.
