Do you have a passion for working with youth and families who have been touched by the Child Welfare/Foster Care System? We have a unique team-based program that is looking for a passionate Clinical Supervisor who is experienced in working with this population. Our focus is on healing past trauma, stabilizing current and future placements, and equipping our youth to have healthy relationships in the future. We believe that children do best in a family-like setting, no matter the challenging behavior. Our treatment models are focused on Trust-Based Relational Interventions (TBRI) and Together Facing the Challenge out of Duke University.

This position can be based out of any of our Texas offices:  Dallas, Lubbock, San Antonio, Tyler, Amarillo, or Harlingen.

Pay:  $65,000 - $75,000 annually

Essential Functions:

  • Assure that high risk behaviors are mitigated and safety plans are established and monitored.
  • Ensure that abuse and neglect concerns are appropriately reported and immediate actions are taken to ensure client safety.
  • Responsible for supervision of assigned staff.
  • Participate in the growth of the program under the direction of the Director.
  • Assure the implementation of all applicable state regulations and The Bair Foundation’s policies and procedures for the program by maintaining and updating policies and procedures as needed.
  • Provide clinical supervision to staff ensuring that all staff are meeting requirements as far as licensure, training and productivity.
  • Ensure the diagnosis for the client is accurate and is addressed in the treatment documents.
  • Ensure all documentation is completed timely and meets the clinical standard for treatment. This includes ensuring clients are receiving the proper duration and frequency of treatment following the standards for medical necessity.
  • Complete utilization reviews to ensure medical necessity.
  • Review referrals and complete the intake process, if necessary.
  • Become proficient in The Bair Foundation’s model of care.  Will train and support staff to implement components of the model.
  • Implement disciplinary action and make recommendation for the termination of employees (if applicable, foster parents), if necessary.
  • Provide back-up on-call for staff and the Director; which includes responding to emergency situations after hours.


Job Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree in Social Work or related field
  • LPC, LCSW, or LMFT required
