Overview:

NAVIGATE is a dynamic multidisciplinary treatment team designed to provide early and effective treatment to individuals who have experienced a first episode of psychosis. NAVIGATE is a team-based approach and focuses on helping clients and their families to successfully find their way to psychological and functional well-being. The purpose of the NAVIGATE Supported Employment Education Specialist is to act as the primary provider of vocation services to help identify client’s personal preference regarding work and school goals, including career interests, and then provides the necessary support to help the client achieve those goals. 


Rate of pay:  $18.00/hr.

Shift:  Monday - Friday, 9:00am-6:00pm

Education and Experience:

 QUALIFICATIONS:   

Education/Experience:  
• A Bachelor’s degree with a major in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related human services field.  Master’s degree in rehabilitation counseling preferred.
• One year experience providing vocational rehabilitation services. 
• One year of professional experience working with persons with severe mental illness (SMI).
• One year of working in community treatment/outpatient setting experience preferred. 


Licensure or Certification: 
• Must possess valid driver’s license.
• Maintain authorization as a designated driver in accordance with Agency policy.

 



To be considered for employment, you will be required to undergo a criminal background check, employment references check, and drug screening. In addition you must have a current and valid driver's license with no more than 6 points. A 3 year driving record will also be required upon hire.
