Description:

Perform the clerical duties of theinpatient units.  Acts as thereceptionist and assists with the maintenance of documentation, supplies, andequipment.

Audits and flags charts to ensureall items on admission log are completed and filed; all other paperwork isaccurately and completely filled out in accordance with Client Record HandbookStandards.  Ensures correct chart order,the presence of patient labels on all forms; forms are complete and correct;adds new forms as needed; notifies appropriate staff of necessary correctiveaction on a daily basis.  Makes labelsfor client records as needed.  Ensuresprompt filing of patient information (e.g., labs, assessments, consults, etc.)in patient records.


Completes final audit, removesflags; ensures correct order, delivers chart to Medical Records within 48hours) of discharge.


Inventories and orders unitsupplies (forms, linens, nursing supplies, office supplies, patient hygieneitems, etc.).  Passes supplies out topatients if needed.


Contacts maintenance via workorders regarding safety issues. Contacts housekeeping regarding unitcleanliness as needed to maintain unit order and sanitation.


Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be able to type at least 35 wpm.
  • One (1) year of related work experience.

Shift:  Monday - Friday, 7:30 am - 4:00 pm

Rate of Pay: $9.00hr

To be considered for employment, you will be required to undergo a criminal background check, employment references check, and drug screening. In addition you must have a current and valid driver's license with no more than 6 points. A 3 year driving record will also be required upon hire.
