Overview:


The purpose of CAT therapeutic services is to provide home and community based behavior management and support services to youth and families at risk. The primary goal of the therapist is to develop specific behavior treatment plan that addresses the challenging behaviors of the youth in order to optimize the functioning of recipients who have complex needs by coordinating the provision of quality treatment and support services in the most efficient and effective manner. Services and service frequency should accurately reflect the individual needs, goals, and abilities of each recipient.  Provides individual, group, marital and family therapy in accordance with established and acceptable clinical protocols in accordance to identified service plan needs.

ShiftGenerally, Monday-Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm., occasionally works on-call which includes weekends

Rate of Pay:

$26.00 per hour (1-2 years)
$27.00 per hour (3-5 years)
$28.00 per hour (6+ years)


Education and Experience:
  • Master's degree from an accredited university or college with a major in the field of counseling, social work, psychology, or related human services field and
  • One (1) year of professional experience providing services to children experiencing severe emotional disturbance. 
  • Knowledge of substance abuse preferred.
  • Licensure preferred.
  • Knowledge of Axis II diagnosis preferred.


To be considered for employment, you will be required to undergo a criminal background check, employment references check, and drug screening. In addition you must have a current and valid driver's license with no more than 6 points. A 3 year driving record will also be required upon hire.
