IT Network Admin

Reporting to the Director of IT Business Processes, the IT Help desk Analyst is responsible to assess and handle the technical concerns of the Staff while adhering to company policies and procedures.


  • Act as a single point of contact for phone calls and emails from staff regarding IT issues and queries
  • IT support on technical related requests in person, over the phone or email. Ticket creation and monitoring of resolution status
  • Granting and Modification of security rights
  • Managing Users Email administration
  • Management of IT Hardware – Laptops, Phones, Printers etc.
  • Administer virus protection and removal
  • Assisting other IT personnel as needed
  • Engages other IT resources in the Trouble-shooting of network software and hardware infrastructure.
  • Forward pending inquiries to the next level of support escalation.
  • Must be available to participate in rotating emergency on-call support

  • Effective and proven organizational skills to meet multiple deadlines and handle multiple tasks in a high pressure and demanding work environment
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Demonstrate ability to perform maturely and professionally ensuring complete confidentiality of sensitive and confidential information
  • Demonstrate the ability to think critically, act logically to evaluate situations, solve problems, and make decisions


  • Minimum of 2 year of experience in a full-time IT role.
  • Technical diploma or equivalent employment experience preferred
  • Preference given to those who have Microsoft or VMWare, Hyper-V, VOIP certifications
  • Preference given to those who have experience with VMware, Hyper-V, VOIP, Server 2008 or higher
  • Experience with installation, configuration and maintenance of Microsoft Windows Server infrastructure.
  • Strong technical aptitude, especially relating to PC hardware.
